Jonathan B. Haslauer, ERPA, QPA, QKA
President

Jonathan graduated Cum Laude in Mathematics from Tulane University and has served the Haslauer Group since 2000. His service began with plan administration, progressing to marketing, sales, and management before ultimately succeeding his predecessor, Beverly B. Haslauer, as President in 2018. Jonathan is a Qualified 401(k) Administrator, qualified Pension Administrator, and is authorized to practice before the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent. In his spare time he loves mental and mathematical puzzles and has nearly perfected his ability to solve a Rubik’s Cube.

Vice President, CFO

Tracy is directly involved with all aspects of participant recordkeeping, distribution and loan processing, and compliance testing. She is a Qualified Pension Administrator, a Qualified 401(k) Administrator and has earned the Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) designation from the Internal Revenue Service. With over 20 years’ experience in retirement plan design, administration and communications, she has been instrumental in improving the administration of our clients’ plans by streamlining procedures and forms.

Anjele M. Melancon, QPA, QKA
Director of Operations

Anjele is the Director of Operations and Internal Sales Team Leader, keeping the office organized and moving every day. She works with clients, advisors, investment companies and the sales team and specializes in plan implementation. Before being drawn to the Retirement Plan Design world, Anjele worked in accounting for nine years. When she was first hired on at The Haslauer Group ten years ago, she worked on the Administration side. As she progressed, she earned the title of Associate Vice President and Director of Operations. When she is not working, you will find Anjele in the kitchen baking up some yummy goodies. This proud mom of three is not just known as a wife and mother, but some may call her “Crafty Cathy” since she is a magician with all things in the craft world. Anjele holds a degree from the University of New Orleans.

Steven Peranio
Sales

Steven is a Sales Consultant for The Haslauer Group. Steven’s primary focus is establishing and maintaining relationships with our clients. He works with financial advisors to design and implement retirement plans that will maximize a client’s tax and retirement benefits. Before joining the team, Steven worked in the banking industry for 13 years. He is a graduate of the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Steven currently lives in Metairie with his wife and two sons. He doesn’t get to go fishing nearly as much as he would like to despite having a boat sitting on a trailer ready to go, and is a huge Saints and Pelicans fan.

Chad DiCristina, MBA, QPA, QKA
Administration Manager

Chad supervises an administration team at The Haslauer Group. With over five years of experience, Chad has obtained designations as a Qualified Pension Administrator and a Qualified 401(k) Administrator and is currently in the process of achieving his Certified Pension Consultant credential. Chad holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and also graduated Summa Cum Laude in their MBA program. His colleagues at The Haslauer Group call him the “King of the North” since he currently resides in Chicago.

Michael Dupre, QPA, QKA
Administration Manager

Mike organizes and oversees the daily functions of his administration team. The team is responsible for fulfilling the annual IRS and Department of Labor requirements for compliance. These tasks include, but are not limited to, compliance testing, trust accounting, and distribution processing, as well as the preparation and filing of the annual return, the Form 5500. Michael is a graduate of the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and is currently working towards earning his CPA credential. Michael enjoys long motorcycle rides, deep conversations about the New Orleans Saints, and I don’t know how to put this, but, he’s kind of a big deal.

Scott Hannan, QPA, QKA
Administration Manager

Scott joined our team in 2013 and is an Administration Manager and team leader who supervises the administration of client accounts comprised of both defined contribution and defined benefit plans. With over five years of service at The Haslauer Group, Scott has obtained designations as a Qualified Pension Administrator and a Qualified 401(k) Administrator. He leads his team in the completion and review of required nondiscrimination testing, contribution calculations and reconciliation of deposits, and the preparation and filing of Form 5500s and related attachments. He maintains relationships with plan sponsors, financial advisors, and recordkeepers to ensure all plans meet the needs of the sponsor while maintaining qualified status. Scott holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and a B.S. in Finance from Louisiana State University. He enjoys beating everyone and anyone who challenges him in pinball, making loud noises with his excessive amount of guitar gear, and being a rescue pup parent.

Keith F. Wright, QKA
Administration

Keith is a member of an administration team at The Haslauer Group. He is engaged with his client’s compliance testing, trust accounting, and participant record keeping. After Keith joined the team in 2016, he earned his designation as a Qualified 401(k) Administrator and is currently working towards his Qualified Pension Administrator credential. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. When he isn’t pushing out Form 5500s in the office, he competes in 5k races around New Orleans and enjoys trying new restaurants in the area.

Kristi Sallerson
Accounting

Kristi joined The Haslauer Group in January 2013 as a Plan Administrator and transitioned to her current roles as Bookkeeper and Plan Document Manager in 2015. She manages the day to day financial transactions for the company, as well as the implementation of the plan documents and amendments for each plan. Kristi is a proud alum of Georgia Southern University and worked in finance before moving to Louisiana and joining The Haslauer Group. In addition to her roles with The Haslauer Group, she is a wife, mom of one, avid reader, beach bum and defending champion of HG’s Fantasy Football League.

Raymond J. Adams, Jr.
Attorney

Ray is a graduate of Louisiana State University and the LSU Law School. After a decade of practicing law in the real estate title world with Delta Title Corporation, Ray developed an interest in the retirement industry. Following a meeting with Jonathan regarding his own retirement plan, the two realized they could benefit from combining their talents. Shortly thereafter Ray joined the Haslauer Group as a staff attorney and in-house counsel. He is responsible for the creation and maintenance of our plan documents and provides assistance to management and the administrative teams, the distribution department, and manages plan terminations and deconversions. Ray has also completed all the requirements for his QKA credential and is the office tech support department. Fun Fact: Ray was an original member of the New Orleans and Baton Rouge-based band “The Mixed Nuts” a.k.a. “The Party Band From Tiger Land”, filling in the low end and making walls shake with his bass for 11 years.

Beverly B. Haslauer, ERPA, CPC, QPA, QKA
President Emeritus, Retired

Beverly has nearly 40 years of experience and is well known in the retirement industry both locally and nationally. She is an ASPPA Certified Pension Consultant, a Qualified Pension Administrator, and a Qualified 401(k) Administrator. She also earned the Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) designation from the Internal Revenue Service. She has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. She has also served on ASPPA’s Government Affairs, Education & Examination and Conference Committees.
